Does Hurts have the arm strength!
« on: September 20, 2021, 09:35:15 am »
Didn’t see much of the game only excerpts.  I did see his long pass to Reagor however who clearly had beaten his his defender and it was clearly under thrown.  Thoughts!

He clearly beat his man cuz he ran out of bounds.  If he had ran a better route he would’ve prolly got the ball sooner.
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? (Rom 8:31)

Agreed. Reagor is such a wasted pick.

We'll see. Two games isn't much to judge. I just get the feeling the Eagles are going to be drafting in the Top Ten without having to sacrifice any picks. I'm just not that enthusiastic watching Sirianni and his team. I hope I'm wrong but they might be lucky to win 4-5 games. Sirianni may be a great coach but I don't think it's going to be this year. No pre-season play for starters, 14 penalties in game 1, o for 3 in 4th downs, leaving points on the field. I'm not sure but I think they get trounced in Dallas like 27-10.

The next 4 games are Dallas, KC, Carolina,TB, then they have LV away before a respite at Detroit. Then Justin Herbert. Helluva first 8 games.

I've watched the first quarter of the Dallas game and that's enough for me. I've seen enough of Sirianni for tonight. Zero run plays except for Hurts? Good Lord. The only consolation is Belicheck got fired from his first job so maybe there is hope somewhere in the future.

Exactly.  At what point do you realize that short passes down the field won't cut it in the NFL.  DBs not even worried bout the ball going downfield....just sitting on those outs and nobody doing anything different.  When is the team gonna draft a LB in the 1st round.
