On the qb sneak, the play clock expired a full second or more before the ball was snapped

The clock was 00 before that snap….oh well.

Win or lose, I like what I see defensively.  The offense needs work though.  Siriani has to call more than 20 passing plays in a game and more than 2 have to go down the field.  Josh Norman should’ve been exploited.  The screen game disappeared this week.  I seen only 2…one was to Godert and the other go blown up.  The OL played well for the most part.  Gotta run the ball in the red zone too. All in all, SF is a formidable team and PHI gave them a go.

I figured sf would take away the screens and short stuff after watching film. Hurts does not look capable of beating you with his arm, but 2 games isn’t a fair sample

He underthrew every deep ball

He only threw 3 balls down field.  Two were caught (Quez), one was called back cuz Reagor stepped out.  One was good defense on the outside vs Smith.  The problem was there weren’t enough plays called to throw it down field.  Don’t understand why Josh Norman wasn’t exploited…

Blocked FG, didnt score after the Quez play….that can’t happen.

Great first impression by Sirianni in game 1...Game 2 was awful from Sirianni. I hate when a coach costs us the game. We needed to take points on numerous occasions. 91 yard completion and to come away with 0 points...Inexcusable.

Hurts played fine...It's his 6th game ever... Reagor finally makes a great play....and of course his foot is out of bounds. I guess our WR made SOME plays today, but I'm still wondering where our Metcalf or Jefferson is at...

I HATED Sirianni using up all 3 timeouts and not choosing to save 1. Oh well, at that point, it was already a bit too late. I didn't see a good run game, or anything I expected to see in this game. Why can't Boston Scott get on the field, at all??

Our offense looked like we travelled 3000 miles. SF looked fresh.

Although SF looked fresh, our defense held SF to just 17 points...We should win games like that at home.  The prevent at the end of the half was a defensive mistake though.

Hopefully Sirianni is more like his first week against Dallas...

Brandon Abraham out for year w torn Achilles.  Sweat on deck w Kerrigan.

We need to make Williams and Sweat our starting DEs now.

Barnett sucks, and frequently gets stupid penalties to make up for the fact that he can't win any physical battles at the line of scrimmage.

Reagor can’t allow the CB to ride him outta bounds.  He gotta run the route so he has room or he gotta be strong/fast  enough not to be bullied.  Smith didn’t get enough targets…ditto the TEs.  Siriani play calling had too many gimmicks instead of just running or passing it.  That stuff don’t work on good defensive teams.

Williams is no way ready to start at a position that isn’t even his primary position. Is he your Paul Reed/Jonah Bolden of the nfl?

Obvious why Howie gave Sweat a new contract before Barnett...I wish Howie would have waited though. I think Sweat will play a bit less hungry now. I hope not though, especially with BG out now.

Honestly I love Brandon Graham...His injury kills mehhhhhhhhhh!

Agree with you 100%.

Also, that missed INT by Nelson was big too.  Two weeks in a row he’s dropped an INT.  The penalties gotta stop as well.

The penalties are the ridiculously stupid kind as well. I didn't like seeing Barnett staying on the field either after that. Coach needed to maybe send a message there...IDK?
