I was talking about the karma stuff with the applauds and smites. When I left in early February some genius(s) had me with a couple hundred smites. And I had less than a hundred applauds. Now I have over 600 applauds and nearly 6 hundred smites all happening when I was out of town and not even on the boards.

That is weird and creepy when you really think about it. I asked if it was just me or has others been getting the same kind of treatments too.

My wife had a rough time with pancreatic surgery and wanted to visit family and friends because she knows that life is short. Even more so now because of this surgery. She may have been one of the lucky ones and this surgery could have extended her life more. it was discovered early and by mistake while looking for something else on a Cat scan.

That said, she wanted to still visit family and friends just in case she gets more bad news after her follow up with the surgeon next Tuesday.

Thanks for the concern and you are right about someone taking all this time to pour on the hate. Never gave anyone a smite and still don't know how they work. I gave a guy three applauds I think because he asked for them when he first came aboard. I don't know how often you can do these things and whether they are a daily thing or by the posts or what. It doesn't matter really to me though. I just find it weird what happened while I was gone and why both sides jumped significantly in a little over three weeks.

I think they are nonsense, especially the smites. I believe in facing people and debating issues and arguing if you have to to get your points across rather than back stabbing someone like a coward and not letting them know where it comes from.

Bother me? I don't really care much about the personal jabs. I'm a big boy and I can take them personally. But what bothers me some in this practice is that new people coming aboard gets affected by these stupid things and may decide not to even participate in discussions thinking they will get hated on or be ridiculed over their thoughts and ideas before they figure out some idiot(s) are just being stupid.

I don't know about these people other than responding to them awhile back on the Phillies board. You could be right and that they are the creation of a troll. I have still seen other names created recently too or ones that were created and still haven't posted much if at all as well that has signed on also daily with no posts given by them also. They too could be given these smites and applauds I suppose. Or any of them could be signing on to read things and them hop off, who knows? I have no idea who does what and really don't spend a minute trying to figure out which troll name does what.

Regardless, like I said it's stupid and these people that do these things are stupid.

I have no idea about them. I do remember you arguing with them awhile back and I recall checking and seeing them posting at the same time or like seconds apart. That showed me then that it was two people because no one person could post that closely in times using multiple sentences like they did then. Perhaps the troll had or has an accomplice on occasion?

I remember on the old board we had a guy that had many names. I wonder if he is at it again?

I don't remember their names but vaguely something about you on them about whatever names they used. I do remember saying to someone that they could be named the same, it's possible with common names.

As for guys locking in and not posting that happens a lot here. You can look at today for example and see two names of such. punkywhips and 6real. both came on and didn't post.

We had a guy with over two hundred names there.

I am curious how come these names you talked about don't show up at the bottom of the page? And how you found them?
