I'm trying to get excited but I just can't seem to muster the get go.  I used to be a huge Flyers and hockey fan.  Each and every gameday from an 82 game season felt like my birthday.

Since that time, goals are down 50%, fighting down 90%, and I have no clue who any of the players are.  Our captain is a ghost.

Can someone fire me up with something somehow?

Nolan Patrick is trying to make a comeback, and he's pizzed off that all they want to talk about is Oscar. Patrick was the clear number 1 prospect in the world at one point, but bad luck has made ppl forget.

Dude is just 22 and now has a chip on his shoulder. Could be the missing piece...

Thanks for the attempt but this kind of does nothing for me. Maybe Patrick will score 25 goals and people will say oh my gosh that’s a lot these days! And I’ll be napping through the entire thing.

Miss the glory days of Lindros. In Tampa Bay series back in 96 these two goons are just getting in his face all series and then he fooks both of them up in one shift. Think he gave one guy a concussion and broke the other guys nose. Michel Petit and Igor Ulanov

Thanks, some good times back then

I was at that game where Lindros got plastered by Stevens, that was a dirty elbow btw.

Hockey just isn’t the same now. Everyone is basically the same type of player, fast skilled player who scores 15-20 goals. Big time snipers will get more but whatever, not that much of a difference.
