Sunday Games
« on: November 29, 2020, 02:09:56 pm »
Hey Kruk:  MD has a big starting 5.  Their guards aren’t small at all...long & lanky.  Got “Manute Bol” in the middle, but he’s light in the pants.  Getting bullied by 6’9 LB.  They should manhandle Mt St Mary tho.  Whoa...Tuegeons been at MD for 10yrs already?

I wanna see Mac McClung later vs HOU.  Still wondering why he left Georgetown?
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? (Rom 8:31)

Down goes UK to Richmond.  Calipari gonna have to perform miracles w this squad.  Losing Quickley, Hagans, & Maxey was a blow to the program.  But that’s the price you pay when you recruit one & done players...or even 2 & done in some cases

Maryland went big with the starting 5 today.  Chol still needs ALOT of work.  I actually like Smith better as their starting center.

I don't get why McClung left GTown.  Maybe he feels like TTech's system will better showcase his talents for the pros?

I’m watching TT vs HOU and McClung came up.  Apparently he didn’t feel he was being coached hard enough at Georgetown.  Ewing being a former C, may not have been the right coach for him.  Not sure I’m buying that totally, but that’s his story.  Could be some truth in there tho.  They had 2-3 players kicked off the team while he was there, so it may have been a lack of discipline within the ranks.  Was he recruited by JT3?

It's possible.  Ewing took over in 2017, so maybe McClung committed to Lil Jon and then stuck to his commitment after Patrick took over.

The Hoyas should build a little bball arena on campus.  Even with Uber, it's a bit hard for students to get to home games at Verizon Center from the GTown campus.  The arena doesn't need to be big, or lavish.  Somethign like Cole Field House with maybe 8K seats would more than suffice.
