If he can smarten up just a little there's no reason why he can't be an effective 20/10 center for several more seasons.

Neither of them broke their body for the team. They broke their bodies playing for themselves and contracts. What did either of them do more than any other pro athlete ? Embiid at least tried. Simmons went through the motions. If a grown man who weighs close to 300 lbs can’t learn in 10 years that you can’t keep landing on the floor, there is no hope.

All this BS started when HUMPTY DUMPTY started crying about the MVP Award. When (EMBIID) disagreed with the selections of the Greek & Joker the past 2-3 years ago. This is where the Fair Tail begins about EMBIID. Instead of crying about the MVP Award his focus should've have been on the Sixers. Finally, HUMPTY DUMPTY gets his MVP Award all things are fine. Now a year later HUMPTY DUMPTY decides to go to the Olympics to get a Gold Medal with Team USA. What's puzzling about this EMBIID decision making about playing for his homeland. Well, that's another subject. IMO HUMPTY DUMPTY should of settle with the MVP AWARD & focused more on healing his knees & resting before the season starts. As the Sixers fast forward for opening night, it's been announced that HUMPTY DUMPTY will miss the first 2 weeks of the season due to injuries. Which brings back be happy with the MVP & get lost.

For many Sixers fans this is another wasted year by signing PG who's injured. I've mentioned numerous of times the city of Philadelphia is simply cursed. Know matter how you look at it. I look at Edwards & the Twovels who are way ahead of the Sixers & are contenders of making it to MVP Finals. I don't understand the situation here. I agree with CB bring out the DYNOMITE & start from scratch. Start by firing Morey & working your way down to the bottom. Just roll with MADD MAXX McCain & Yabusele & let the other BS simply explode. Just take the chances again in the NBA Draft.
