If true, Morey has a deal.  He could get a young point guard of his choice as well as a nice shooting guard.  He’ll also get picks which could be virtually unrestricted.  This could be his way out of the mess he put himself into.

These guys couldn't get the Cavs to 30 wins in a full 82 game season.

I don't think they'd be worth anything more than garbage time for us.

Like Garland and Markkanen with picks.  Sixers would need to wait until the end of October to pull off the trade.

Ben will never allow them to trade him to Cleveland. He’s going to California

Reports say that he will play anywhere but Philly.

First of all I don’t know what your fascination is with maarkanen. He’s ok at best and always injured. As far as playing anywhere- apparently Minnesota is interested and Ben was none too happy.

Not releasing him
I actually like sexton - Pretty rare to have a player so young average so many points albeit on a bad team
And if we can get unrestricted unprotected draft picks they could really be worth something
I get the complaints about Markinnen but he could b the kind of player who bounces back at a new location and he can really shoot And gives us a young forward we could really use

I know ,Morey and management are playing wait and see games. After November there will be a lot of opportunity  come. Lillard,Beal,KAT,Lavine etc will be available. No need to rush trading Ben at this moment.

Benjamin is already in California, which is where he should stay. I've changed my mind, I think Benjamin should sit out the entire year, to quote him.."get his mental right". Of course he won't be paid, but I'm sure he will find his love of the game.

I only like this as it gives the sixers honest trading chips for a 3 way deal. Otherwise, the players are just filler.

And are either of Sexton or Markkanen good enough to displace any of Embiid, Harris, Thybulle, Green or Maxey from the probable starting 5? Definitely not Markkanen imo and I think I'd rather start Maxey than Sexton.

How is that better than CJ and Covington?

I think if we could Garland and Okoro and picks, I think we should jump on that. And like the article said, we could maybe move those picks for another really good player..

The last time we traded with Clevland we ruined the franchise trading them the first pick in the draft which turned out to be Brad Dougherty. I would not make this trade if I am the 76ers.

So your not making a trade with Cleveland because of what happened 35 years ago!!!!  We would be getting players and picks!!! You absolutely do this trade..
