Tatum being out allowed Brown and Smart to "set the ton" for the rest of their team.

That Celtic team last night was playing like a bunch of starving back alley orphans.

You'll never see them being that scrappy with Tatum as their lead dog.

Their lead dog is a franchise player

Whether its true or not, I will never forgive Jerry for stopping Sam's trade of Jahlil for Boston's pick.

Geez, could you imagine... the 6ers could have had Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum with Embiid & Simmons?!

The leadership of the franchise has been absolutely atrocious since Sam left. (and hinke wasn't perfect either).
Should be back on track with Daryl and Doc.

Funny thing is. Jerry didn't even want the job in the first place. He turned it down at first. Sliver had to twist his arm. The dude only took it to eventually install his son. smh.

Ben Simmons: the guy that has occasional 5 min stretches where he gets a lot of  layups or dunks.

Damian Lillard: the guy that will carry a team night after night. Can shoot from 3 feet beyond the arc. And defenses will never pull a defender off of to double team anyone else.

Right now the Ben Simmons defenders don't have a leg to stand on. You should take a look at what Collin Sexton is doing.Cedi Osman has even played better than Ben Simmons this year.Stars play well for most of the game and not 1 quarter of a game.Look at Trey Young and look at Ben Simmons. Ben Simmons gives you 12.4 points per game with 8.2 assists whileTrey Youngaverages 25 points per game with 8.7 assists. I think Trey young could average at least 10 assists with the 76ers  and still score 20-21 points per game.SGA gives you 21.6 points per game and 6.4 assists on a lousy team. On the 76ers he would give you the same amount of assists as Ben Simmons.

Tatum is Tobias Harris if Harris had unlocked his full potential by 20 instead of 25.

I like the dude, but Boston is stuck on a road to no where thinking that Tatum and Brown can win a title as their 1/2.

We conversely are only now unlocking the potential of Joel and Ben.  The Brett years were just one giant waste of time.

If we had gotten that pick, it was gonna either by Murray or Dunn.  And by all accounts we were REALLY in love with Dunn.

Even after getting turned down for the 3rd pick, we still made a big offer for the 5th pick which came after Brown was off the board.

The "talk" before the draft was that Dunn might go #3.

Jaylen Brown has brought it this year with or without Tatum it doesn't matter. Dude's had more 25+ point games than games less than 25 points. Funny enough he and Tatum are averaging the exact same amount of points per game 26.9.

In Jalen Brown's ONLY  year at Cal  he AVERAGED 14.5 POINTS PER  GAME,BUT I REMEMBER HIM DEFERRING A LOT IN COLLEGE. HE ONLY shot 29% FROM HAPPYLAND.

How come Ben looks worst under a real coach like Doc then he has every looked in the past when he was voted into 2 allstar games as opppsed to Embiid who looks like a true MVP under Doc.  Wouldn’t you consider that as regression as opposed to unlocking potential when it comes to Ben?

I think we might have seen Ben’s best years under Brett.  For the most part it looks like the league has figured him out and he seems to refuse to or can’t  adjust.

But nice for Ben to show up in the guts of the game for the first time this season lol.  To level set, TJ has also won a couple games for us in the past lol Hopefully it translates to more to come.  Would also love if it was against the full Boston squad and in the playoffs but obviously that’s asking for too much at this point in the year.

I don't think Ben has looked worse honestly.

His defense has been as good as ever.  The stats actually back it up.

His assists are at career highs and only trending up.

His FG% is actually really good in the 2nd half of games.

The only area where he's struggling is shooting in the 1st half.  He's not getting warmed up properly by tip off.  That's maybe a result of Doc doing something different before games than Brett.  But it's a fixable problem.  We just have to stop pulling our hairs out over Ben missing a few layups early in games.  It's really no big deal.

I know how it works with Philly fans and crow.  A little bit of crow at a time, never all at once.
