this is getting out of hand

the guy is averaging 12 9 and 8 and playing 1st team all-defence

he is 5th in assists, 12th in steals, 17th in rebounding,
whats more important, we are 1st in the East and 4th overall
its barely 15 games into the season - with a new coach, new terminology and 4 new rotation players is it really so crazy that our PG is perhaps struggling a little and sublimating his own offence for the good of the team and focusing more on getting everyone else involved?

and he's 24!! just! he has only played 230 games in his whole career. less than 3 full seasons of games. that's nothing! his career is just beginning and u guys want to trade him for malcolm Brogdon? for Andrew Wiggins? for RJ Barrett?

are u on drugs?
because his isnt getting the extra 8 pts/game that lets u relax with a 20 pt scorer?
because he doesnt shoot jumpshots?
he may never shoot them.
but he can help us win titles with his triple double averages and we need to focus on what he does so well instead of obsessing about what he doesnt

For fans of winning basketball, Ben is a superstar.

For fans of "hero balling", Ben is a dud.

MCW was giving us better numbers at a younger age.  If he wasn’t good enough neither is Ben, simple as that.

I believe he’s capable of giving us more than he is, until he gives more he deserves everything he’s getting and it’s only right people are looking for greener pastures.  Y’all guys that actually thinks he’s helping and not hurting the offense are gonna have to get over it.

We’re not talking about some 12th pick on a rookie contract, Ben was the #1 pick and he’s on a max contract.

He can’t regress the same year his contract kicks in. If we’re being honest, it started last season you know when he signed the contract.  Two good weeks while Joel is out is just not enough no matter how you slice it.

jr for me, ive never been concerned about his jumper (although id certainly like him to have one). ive always been worried that he didnt do normal basketball fundamentals well.  triple threat, explosive steps (he not only doesnt have a good first step...his second step is just as bad), going towards the basket as opposed to away from it for layups, ect ect. 

i really saw progress last year. he was really getting good at creating in the half court. and that low pnr with him and jo was kinda cool. 

this year has been a complete regression.  so lets keep it apples to apples.  forget not appreciating what ben brings to the table compared to player xx. im disappointed in what 2021 ben is bringing to the table compared to 2020 ben. 

i think u agree.  u just have a bunch of reasons for it.  i hope you are right

None of those teams had a guy who seen a open 8ft shot and didn’t say thank you. 

You talk a lot about hero ball, what exactly do you expect the rest of the team to do when they’re playing 4 on 5?

Sure Ben can live in the dunkers spot and Joel can post up. But the rest of the team is supposed to live on jump shots?  Like Tobias just can’t take it to the rim because it’s already 4 guys down there?

You guys take nobody else into consideration. It’s a team game and you build around the guy who carries you.

BEN DOES NOT CARRY THIS TEAM. That would be Joel. What exactly does Ben do to help Joel on offense? He actually hurts him by not creating space.  This is too easy and too stupid to keep having the same conversation with you.

Superstar?    Outside of you, his family, and the Kardashian woman nobody calling Ben a superstar.   Cut that out Kruk...

Fast forward to 50 seconds in on this video.  Burke called Ben a superstar on air last night.  Max, Perkins and Stephen A say it all the time.  Mark Jackson called him one of the best guards in the league just last week.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but you guys are in your own fan universe on this one.  Like you were with Markelle.  Our GM back then was sadly with you.  Our GM right now is thankfully not.
