<<<<what exactly would anyone seek to gain by saying that the kid had a cardiac arrest? and as i said from the beginning when you and your cohorts blamed the vaccine- none of us knows whether or not he took the vaccine.>>>>>

And again, none of us knows whether or not the vaccine had anything to do with his cardiac arrest. A kid had a heart attack and we have this kind of anti-vaxx spam on the Sixers page. I wish they'd cut and paste this post onto the forum political page.

Takes literally no effort to not click it lol is it interrupting all the red hot sixers news going on right now on the most fringe sports forum on the internet?

I get your point but..who cares lol

Lol, at minimum your analogy is interesting!  After reading that I need to make a Red Lobster run.
I understand and agree with most of what you’re saying.  I just feel you give Hinkie way more of a pass than he deserves because you agreed with his thinking and method of rebuilding.  We should’ve had more of a foundation of actual players after all the drafts and free agent looks Hinkie commandered.  I thought it was a  🐔 💩 way of building a team but we can agree to disagree.

To be fair the NBA draft is fuckin hard, far far more difficult then say.. the NFL draft. I mean you could have the #3 overall pick in the draft and guess what.. 5 years later you look back and see not a single all star player was in the draft that year, or there was 1 and he was gone at #1.. cool man lol

And it's like how smart can anybody be? I know Hinkie didn't draft him but just for example look at Ben Simmons, who the hell WOULDNT have picked him first overall? You would have to be absolutely braindead to pass him up at the time, who could've foreseen the way his career would unfold? Lol

I'm no Hinkie cultist but realistically.. he's probably the best GM this team has had.. since I've been watching the sixers. That's a fckin low bar,and it's only because he actually specialized in SOMETHING (COMMON SENSE asset management). Every other GM we've had in my lifetime has just been a fckin bumbling r*tard with zero redeeming qualities.

Kinda sad now that I think about it, a guy who I honestly don't think knew a fck ton about the game of basketball (and yes, squandered a bunch of top 10 draft picks).. was probably the best GM my team has had in 20 something years of watching. Yikes.

I think you undersold this. I'm not aware of any evidence that the covid vaccine can cause a heart issue for the first time 2 years later.
I think that would be a new thing.

Now wait wait wait.. the vaccine is barely older than a couple years, so of course if and when it happened it would be a new thing lmao what.. why are we talking about it like it's 50 years old? Lol

But also let's be real, if and when there came a time where it was actually a thing.. it would only be a newly ACKNOWLEDGED thing.

IF it has happened prior to this point, again not saying with any certainty it has.. we all KNOW it would 1000% be covered up like none other.

They've already brainwashed people into thinking without realizing, that they created the single safest medicine the world has ever seen (in "warp speed" time btw) lol ffs every day aspirin and fckin allergy medicine has potential long term severe side effects.. but this has zero? Anyone who buys that has no clue what planet they're living on. It's not a fckin conspiracy to say every single piece of medicine ever created has potential adverse side effects.

Except for baby Jesus holy savior covid vaccine. Gimme a break.

Since when did adverse effects of medicine become exclusively instantaneous?? Wtf?? Lol I can take allergy medicine today, am I going to get brain cancer next week? No.. might I in 30 years? Potentially yeah..

But no the vaccine can't possibly have any potential adverse effect 2, 3, 4 (through any number) years after the fact. Let's use common sense here. I have to wonder if people are just in denial of it out of fear for the possibilities for themselves, or worse the fear of them being wrong about the hill they were so adamant about dying on.. cause anything can kill you, and that fear can only influence the things we do so much.

“No GM has accomplished less with more than Brand, imo.”

Sir, surely you jest.
Hinkie was terrible.  Out of the hundreds of players that shuffled thru Philly during the Hinkie era, the second best player that was developed as a Sixer is prolly TJ McConnell.  Let that sink in (no shade to TJ).
After having 6 top 12 picks the only starter level guy in the league is Embiid.
Noel, MCW, Saric, Jah & Simmons.
I’m no fan of Brand but under his helm we had the best Sixer team since the process began.  Brand wanted to trade Simmons sorry ass a full season BEFORE the Hawks meltdown.  He wanted to keep Jimmy as well but Butler didn’t want any part of Coach “I need to control that brotha” Brown.  At that point Brown had way more organizational sway than Brand.  Because ownership stupidly sided sided with Brown over Jimmy, Brand was forced to overpay (granted, a second time) for a guy who has never been an All Star.  Brand made a bad trade for Harris but the rest of his decisions were defendable.
How in the eff can a analytics guy draft 3 centers in consecutive drafts when the league was clearly trending towards wings & 3pt shooting?  After shuffling thru hundreds of players how in the eff is Roco & TJ the Crown Jewels of your talent evaluation process?  The 2022-23 Heat had 4 undrafted guys better than anyone not named Embiid that came thru the process……
Hinkie was awful.

Wasn't it Hinkie that found Grant, Covington, and Wood under a rock?  Also let's not forget Saric was very good for us.. and to be fair (could be wrong bit off memory) I feel like some of those drafts, damn near the entire top 10 players selected were all busts. Either way.. not claiming Hinkie had a great eye for talent, but at least he knew asset management. Brand on the other hand was like installing a degenerate gambling addict as the CEO of a fortune 500 company.

I dont care about all the excuses of well if this happened and this happened.. that's what you inevitably end up saying when you take a TERRIBLE gamble, and give up all of your assets for guys who have the ability to ghost for any fckin reason they feel like after 40 games.

Reckless malpractice no matter how you wanna twist it.

Facts are being ignored.
LeBron James position was fairly public, he didn't initially get vaccinated. Kareem called him out. James clapped back.
It was only when league made it mandatory that James got the minimum level of vaccination. That was summer 2021. Bronny James was 16 at the time.

But you claim it's obvious Bronny got vaccinated?

Had to research this and.. I'm a little shocked honestly but youre right, I'll take the L on that one. Fair play.

I would still bet on him having gotten it, but it is not completely unreasonable to question given the facts here (concede that one to doc)

However the response to people ever asking the questions they're asking is still as absurd as ever. Using all the classic buzzwords (regardless of them being applicable or not) to dismiss and deny in suspiciously frantic fashion.. which they can no longer hide behind the excuse of "dangerous misinformation" (lol) that will prevent people from getting the vaccine. Everyone who was going to get it has it, everyone who isn't has not. That horse is dead and buried and it doesn't even matter anymore anyway because covid magically vanished from existence.

I mean ffs it's crazy how quick people are to sell themselves out as desperate and unintelligent when their knee jerk response to "I think vaccines can have negative side effects in some cases" is "conspiracy theorist".. oh so you have no idea what the word "conspiracy" means, thanks for letting everyone know so eagerly.

as long as no one is jumping onto this without a proper examination or knowledge of the facts?

took elon musk a half hour before he tweeted
at least he examined Bronny first...

$20 you didn't even read what the guy wrote before you posted this (several metric tons of irony), but rather read and headline along the lines of "bad man Elon said bad thing".

we don't know if, let alone when he received a vaccine, nor whether he received an mrna vaccine even if vaccinated. blaming everything on the vaccine is as blind as blaming nothing on the vaccine. the truth lies somewhere in between. many young athletes have died or had heart attacks over the years. admittedly the volume seems to have increased significantly though i've yet to see that documented anywhere.

Don't play daft, LeBron is a loony left cultist to the max. His son who lived under his roof 1000% got the shot.

Not saying that necessarily has any role here, and i absolutely feel bad for the kid  and the family.. but you know you're bullsh*tting with that point.

Well Brand has the highest winning percentage of the last 20yrs

About as earned as inherting a billion dollars from your grandfather. Colangelos were sh*t, yeah.. but didn't cause the damage Brand did.

Idk how we can forget how awful he was. Oh he was so BOLD to get Jimmy and Tobias! Stfu, he blew our wad on half season rentals. Calling that "bold" is the most horse sh*t way of saying "flagrant malpractice", and as someone else pointed out.. pinned us in a corner to double down and overpay Harris.

My best friend is a Boston fan, tells me they have a rookie head coach who doesn't know what he's doing.. and yet they still beat is with an objectively less talented roster. Doc should've been gone years ago. I'd rather have Brett Brown.

In my 28 years as a sports fan I've got to watch my Yankees win 5 rings, my giants win 2, and this fckin team never fail to disappoint. I'm legitimately losing my ability to care. This is probably the best sixers team I'll ever see, and they STILL find ways to blow it. I'm pretty much at the point where.. I see a championship NOW, or this organization is dead to me. It's just not worth the energy of even paying attention when it seems the script is written before the season starts ever year.

I love Joel, I love Harden, I love Maxey, but boy do I hate this team.. in an oversized rat infested dumpster people call an inhabitable city.

Yeah I know, "cool story bro". Don't care, I said it.
