Yeah, the richest guy in town built the biggest mansion in the country, which was abandoned, while a local sports hero managed to keep the small family business running.  Different times I guess.

Anybody remember Stotesbury Manor/Whiemarsh Hall?  Or Del Ennis bowling alley?

At that point in time, he still had significant value. We don't know if Sacramento ever had a choice between Simmons and Sabonis. It's quite possible that the Sabonis deal first came up after the Simmons talks cooled. I should correct that to say, I don't know.

The Atlanta freeze definitely raised questions, but I think there was still genuine interest in moving a unicorn to friendlier confines, especially somewhere that might be interested in building around him, like he wanted.  Even after the disastrous tour in Brooklyn thus far, there has got to be some hope in the Net’s FO that he will heal and return at least to prior form.  So, yeah, I could see the Kings looking at Ben a year and a half ago with great interest, before the herniated disc.  However it went down, things have worked out well for them as well as Indiana.

Y’all take care and make accommodations this next week or so.  And let’s keep an eye out for the neighbors.

Absolutely needed, and certain that the refs will totally mess up enforcing it.

Remember, Embiid didn’t heal from that first operation, done before we drafted him.  Harris wanted insurance. Hinkie was more confidant, and wanted Noel to learn the PF position while playing with Jahlil, who Hinkie then had traded with Danny for Boston’s pick (which turned into #4 and Brown), except Jerry stepped in, and that was pretty much when Sam was shown the door.

“Nurse wants to turn me into Siakam.”  I’ll take that as a positive.

I'm done giving Turner his 'get out of jail free' card. Time to put up your $30 million a year results. It's not looking like he's going to do squat this year. He looks foolish at the plate and they should push him down. Bohm and Stott have both hit well around the top of the order so Thomason's excuse about guys may not feel comfortable up there is total bullsh!t.

Yet he was great with Team USA just before the MLB season.  HRs even.  I remember when he first got traded to the Nats he was fantastic, but Rizzo was dead set on figuring out if Desmond or Espinosa (who he thought were great steals) weren’t destined for it.  So Dusty told him he had done good, but they were going to send him back down to AAA, and that he should enjoy “feasting” on the pitching.  Instead, he struggled miserably, and it took him a while to adjust when they finally brought him back up. Finally in the middle of winning a title, and then wows the crowds in LA with his slick play.  He’s a hard one to figure.

He's talking about the Lilliard situation, no?  This guy has no mirrors in his life!

Well, if he don’t see any similarity between him and Dame, I can only guess its cause he sees how much more Dame is wanted.  I think he’ll see how it’s in his best interests not to be fat Elvis by the trade deadline.

My self-serving spin is that Elton probably didn’t have much say when they traded for Zhaire.  I thought his moves for Jimmy and Tobias were bold.  Everybody was talking about that starting line-up.  But Harris wanted to look like a good guy by resigning Brown, who demanded that Jimmy be shut-up.   So, yeah, he did outbid himself to re-sign TH, in response to that awful trade. The situation with Horford remains a puzzle.  Almost like dealing with a double agent or something.

“I see both sides because I went through it,” Harden said. “… I wouldn’t want an organization to send someone somewhere where they wouldn’t [want to] be… But then you don’t want to give that player away for nothing. So I get both sides. It’s just finding a balance to meet in the middle and hopefully, both sides can come to an agreement.”

After a serious brush with mortality this weekend, will BB face up to the fact that his partnership with fringe, rabid hardliner’s can only lead to the end of the original ideals of the return to Palestine, while completing the apartheid/displacement (at best) of the indigenous people, all for the sake of beating a corruption rap?

I still think there should be a system, similar to what pilots and stewardesses were doing back in the ‘70’s, where verified vasectomies buys a guy the right to have a swinging sex life.  Otherwise, conservatives should back strict child support laws for guys who want to protect conception capability.

But OTC protection will now be distributed the way condoms used to be.  I’m no great support of Kamala Harris, but she doesn’t deserve the grief she’s getting for admitting the obvious.  Massive overpopulation of humans is destroying God’s green Earth and greatly diminishes our quality of life.

If you’re speaking automated, no other sport uses that type of technology. There are awful calls in each sport . The umpires must be held to a higher standard or be replaced

Well, there’s tennis.  After a particularly embarrassing Wimbledon plagued by legacy calls, the Skyhawk system was suddenly ubiquitous at the major events.  Yeah, on an appeal basis, but its made a huge difference.

Just because a person embraces their superior intelligence and overall greatness doesn’t mean they are a narcissist .

People who profess superior intelligence tend to be woefully disappointing.

Here’s some characteristics of Narcissism.  Grandiose, a need to convince others they are special, requiring admiration, entitled, lacking empathy for others, and arrogant.
