I’ve been a diehard Sixers fan since 1980. This is the first season that I haven’t watched a single complete game. I follow this board regularly and occasionally look at the box scores on espn. Sadly, the disappointment has come to be expected. I’ve gone from disappointed to indifferent.

I don’t really consider it hate, but rather an observation. He simply can’t finish at the rim. It wasn’t just this game, it’s most games. He shot 50% from the field which is great, but he missed 10 shots in the lane. As for Maxey, I thought he played out of control and took some wild shots. I didn’t put this loss on Tobias. Again, just made an observation after seeing Tobias get his 5 foot shot blocked with 34 seconds left in the game. The game effectively ended when Maxey fouled out with 1:44 to go in OT with us up 3 points. We didn’t score after that.

Man, Tobias couldn’t finish at the rim on a nerf hoop. Dude is so weak at the rim. On a brighter note, I’m friends with Jalen Johnson’s pop from Milwaukee. Jalen balled out tonight. But…we lost.

I’m a Milwaukee native who lives in the South Florida. I happen to be in Milwaukee this week and attended the game. Ugh….growing up here, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen the 76ers lose in Milwaukee since 1981. Tonight was demoralizing because it was a game we could and should have won. That’s all. 🥹

Honestly, I thought it would be D'Antoni too. While that might have been good for Harden, I don’t think Embiid would have been a great fit in that system, and our roster, as it’s currently configured, isn’t designed for his system. I’m excited to see how the summer plays out. Does this mean Harden is gone? Is he simply driving to overvalue his own market value by involving Houston? Time will tell, it always does.
