Yeah, okay kruk. You were better than me in everything without actually playing.
True story. I played baseball in the Devlin league in Philly. That was the strongest league in the city back then. Starting pitcher for Juniata. Starting pitcher in the city all-star game. A guy from the Orioles contacted me and was following my games right up until I threw my arm out at 16 years old.
I won't bore you with the rest, but I highly doubt you were half the athlete I was.

Hey shark you still play?  Interested in picking it back up? We’re always recruiting in the MSBL

So I'm taking an Insanity class ONCE a week for a hour.  Its designed to be done daily for 60 days, but nahhhh I'm old.  Anyway, the instructor is female and her @$$ is a ball of energy.  I don't know how she does it.  On Wednesday, she instructs 2 classes back to back (Insanity and Spin).  She also instructs kick boxing and aerobics other days too.  SMH...to be young again.

Anyway, that Insanity class is bananas.  The class is a high intensity class, but I'm old & out of shape, so I go at my own pace.  There are younger and older people in the class, so to accomodate everyone she also does modifications on every exercise.  She does the routine, but you have an option, either HIIT or modification.  My man "arthur" (arthritis) doesn't allow me to do to many jumping exercises w/o pain, so I modify things like jumping jacks, plank jacks, burpees, etc.  But I still get it in.  Ahhh, to be young again.  I watch these kids in the class go hard...and think I could never (even when I was young).    I've taken like 5 classes so far and I gotta admit it leaves me exhausted but satisfied.  In fact, its why I'm up at 2am.  I came home, showered, ate, and fell str8 to sleep.  Now I'm up....

Ha, I’ve had those days where I just come up and crash, promise myself it’s just gonna be 20 minutes and 3 hours later I’m waking up knowing I’ll be staring at the ceiling all night....there’s a lady here who teaches a class or two a day, finishes those and comes into the weight room.  I see her jogging in the neighborhood a couple days a week...and she’s 62 or 63 I think I don’t know how she does it, but it’s incredible.

I’ve started dabbling in a yoga class to try and give my joints a break, God do I feel out of place in there so far lol.

On the night it snowed, the next door neighbor’s kid comes over (18 years old), says he used to shovel for the previous owners (who were close to 70) and asked if we wanted him to shovel for us.  Me, not thinking that he’s trying to earn some cash and instead thinking he’s just trying to do us favor, tell him thanks but no thanks that’s ok I can shovel, hey I’m not THAT old yet (in a dadjoke corny way).

Later that night, he makes a Facebook post on the neighborhood group offering shoveling services and it hit me that I just took money out of this kid’s hand by not allowing him to shovel the driveway and I felt so bad!  Plus felt like an idiot for shoveling when I could have just relaxed and let this kid do it!   So I texted him and told him next time he can shovel.

He’s gonna charge you double when he eggs your windows to come clean it off lol

I shoveled today.  That's the most exercise I've done in 9 months.  Not good, lol.

I had my son helping out with our and the neighbors driveway he was giving me grief over it until I told him since wrestling practice was cancelled he can look at it like his exercise.  All in the messaging lol.

Yeah, I beat the snow flurries this afternoon.  Its only been cold this week though...between 30-40s during morning.  With the layers I'm wearing, once I get going I'm ready to come up outta those things....

Looks like you got another week of good weather coming up!

That’s gotta be tough with the re-closing, my sister teaches some spin classes in Philly she’s hot over the closings again.  Got lucky so far down here in Maryland they aren’t talking about going to that level again yet.  I don’t envy you that morning roadwork in the cold though, lol.

Anybody who needs some motivation can look to this guy, follow him on social media.  Good inspiration to get/stay active.

He’s got data proving the 1300 people who have entered his gym during COVID have not contracted the virus.  But King Murphy decides HE makes the law and nobody else does.  Thanks Murphy you dunce...you just gave him a lawsuit and the state of NJ taxpayers will be footing the bill.

This guy’s lawsuit should include how 25 New Jersey lifeguards tested positive but the beaches remain open.

Lol

Of course you don’t want to do that.

Bow down to King Sfmd213!

Lol.  Ok well then do me a favor and help me understand something.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.businessinsider.com/tucker-carlson-fox-news-nyt-reporter-doxxed-2020-7%3famp

This article says Carlson and fans doxxed the NYT reporter by releasing his name, website and email address.

1.  The NYT reporter voluntarily includes his name in every article he writes.
2.  The guy’s website is his own name.
3.  The About section of the website says hi I’m the NYT reporter you may have heard about.
4.  The Contact information of the website says hi here’s my email address if you want to contact me.

This guy has voluntarily made this information publicly available for years.  How has this reporter been doxxed?

Anyone who harasses him (or Tucker) should be arrested for it, sure.  But I don’t get how a person who spends years making himself a public figure gets to say it’s wrong that he’s a public figure.

Last time we were in DC, we decided to check out Obama's place as the destination for our daily walk.  Bil Moyer lived up the street when I was a kid.  I lived across the street where Mark Felt lived when he was Deep Throat. (later, not at the same time.)

We got lucky back when he was still in office, had a vacation planned on Martha’s Vinyard, just so happened to be a couple days before his vacation there.  I couldn’t imagine the security headaches we avoided, that would have been horrible.

Purpose and intent friend. For what purpose and what intent would the NYT have for doing such a dirty deed to begin with and why? Carlson is not a big Trump supporter and hasn't even leaned towards conservatism before the left went nuts in 2016.

The NYT has a motive for going after Carlson. And even if something is public record, does a political agenda driven machine have the right to use that as a weapon? Suppose they publish that info and people die because of it. Is the NYT responsible for that in your opinion?

Well for what it’s worth, the NYT has denied they were gonna publish it.  I’m not a fan of NYT so I wouldn’t necessarily just take their word for it, and since they’re already in controversy for looking to out a blogger last month, they can’t claim any kind of moral high ground here.  But no, if they publish public information and something happens no I don’t think the organization who publishes it should be responsible.  If a paper reports on the scheduled public appearances of a celebrity or politician  and something happens, is the newspaper at fault?  I don’t think so.

13
It's one thing to be public record where you generally have to pay a fee to obtain what you seek for a private reason. And it's another to publish it so some crazies can target a person or their family to commit violence.

I think the whole idea of doxxing or outing people is slimy.  The cancel culture is ridiculous, people whipping their phones out at every intersection to internet sleuth strangers not at their best moments and all of a sudden the world is in judgement is crazy.  I just don’t see that happening here.  If somebody uses that information for a threat, arrest that person and deal with it accordingly.  But if information is public record, that person can just as easily get that information as you or I or Fox News or the NYT can.

14
Why don’t you post your name and address right here and now otherwise you are a privileged lil’ king

Lol.  Why would I do that?  I don’t want to advertise.  That doesn’t mean it’s not public record.  I also think it’s wrong to do, but the idea that lives are in danger because public information is now public?  Seems like a long shot

back from vacation, Tucker didn't mention the sexual harassment case that caused Ed Henry to resign, and suit that includes Tucker and Hannity.
but ranted about how the NYT was about to inform readers of his DC address.  (the number of time the NYT has done this to "enemies":  never.)  instead, Tucker's fans have doxed the reporter that Tucker named.  guess you would call this a pre-strike.  but mainly a diversion.

As far as I know, home addresses are a matter of public record, or at least very easily attainable.  I wouldnt think either Carlson or these reporters have much reason to be upset.  They aren’t kings and queens entitled to over the top protection.

Regarding the NYT, I think it was just last month they ran with  the idea of publicly identifying a blogger, and when he asked the reporter not to he was told it’s policy and it has to be done (I got a bridge to sell anybody who believes that).  I don’t know the reasons for the NYT wanting to identify this guy, but it clearly shows they aren’t above it.  Hard to feel sympathy for it being returned.
