Don’t forget HOF worthy, fan friendly and kept it real. All virtues every city covets.

Yes but the most dominant Eagle team ever was the one we had the year after his retirement.

Imagine the Sixers going fo-fo-fo right after Iverson called it quits.

Mr Krukster - you and I have never had a disrespectful moment although we’ve disagreed on several topics, so I am asking this in all sincerity:

As someone Philly born/bred/live and probably die (although been all around the world), I want to understand what you mean by “Philly dumb”?  You’ve used this term numerous times but I’ve. It seen or remembered the actual definition.  Asking this and hoping you get a chance to answer rather than the from someone you’ve beefed with.

A bottomless confidence in absolute stupidity that is rooted in extreme groupthink.

We all have stupid takes, but when it comes about through extreme groupthink, it becomes codified as if it was Einstein's e=mc^2.

100 wins.

Klentak left behind a dummy proof foundation as far as the regular season was concerned.

I dislike both on the radio, but the rights to Ricky podcast is entertaining

Levin is tolerable.

There are bunch of good accounts on Twitter for Philly sports.

People who's livelihoods aren't dependent on telling fans what they want to hear.

Of course you’ve probably never heard either and Eskin podcast is pretty good

Spike makes Philly dumb loon smart.

And Shorr-Parks makes Spike look smart.

Jack Nesbitt (2025 Flyers 1st Round Pick) with an absolutely disgusting 3 goal effort so far in the season finale. He’s matched last year’s goal total in 10 less games. Flyers got their future net front presence for the power play.

#LetsGoFlyers

We're gonna have some big boys manning the center of the ice.

The #Flyers signed undrafted 23 y/o F Riley Thompson to 1 year entry level deal starting next season

NHL salary 922.5K
Signing Bonus 102.5K

Rep’d by Pete Rutili @the_team_hockey

Seems like a solid gamble.

Nonsense aside, we now have 4 lefties in our pen.

This will pay off if Thomson learns to micromanage our pen.

If...

I think there are a few guys we will see in the next year or two, pitchers that is, who are going to impact this roster in the next 1-2 years. I start with Painter and then Wood, and then Pan, the kid from Taiwan who is back from TJ surgery. There are many others of course but these are kids I have been following.Abel was another one but they got good value for him with Dohan. The other one who DD dumped was Ben Brown, with Chicago now. The Cubs baptized him by fire last year and it was a bumpy ride. Interested to see how he does this year. Brown was one of the three with Abel and Painter who were coming up together kind of.

I've heard good things about Pan from someone I trust, hearing you endorse him makes me even more bullish.

These kids now throw so damn hard.  95 mph doesn't even seem impressive anymore 😂

When we drafted Wood he was being advertised as a fast riser who could potentially be our closer in the near term.

His agent and him clearly have a good relationship with DD.  Sanchez is one of guys who appreciates where he came from and how important this was to his family, the first contract that is. There are a few of us who watched him rise and it's a great story per se, for him. I too am thrilled for him. We watched another guy bloom right in front of us, but came from the farm system, and that's Ranger. I think DD wanted to see Sanchez stay in the organization and he took a bit of a chance with this contract, but I think the team is going to be rewarded for this one.

If Ranger's fastball hadn't lost so much life I'm sure he'd have been extended.

I still think Ranger would have made a better closer than starter.  The man's blood type is I for Ice.

As opposed to someone who believes the guy who was kicked out was making decisions. Yeah, most companies kick out their ceo and have him make decisions to affect their future

Klentak was never fired, just as Howie wasn't fired in 2015 despite every fist pumper thinking otherwise.

Wade was technically "fired", but it was clear that ownership believed in what he was doing and sought to continue his long term plan.

you mean like when they didn't bother to cover simmons even when stationed in the dunker's spot because they knew he wouldn't shoot? nobody was calling for mccain
to play 30 mpg. he was an excellent offensive weapon off the bench, while terry/beauchamp/payne are useless

99% of what he's doing in OKC is due to wide open shots he was never getting here with Oubre and the big 3 out.

It's absurd to think that A) his value would have increased had he stayed another half season and B) we would have won more games this season had we kept him.

But Spike Eskin and Idiot Shorr Parks have spoken, and now the lemmings must listen.

It’s Jiminy Cricket, but nothing from me needs to be said as your Starsky and Hutch routine is embarrassing. No one cares. Ohh looks like it’s time for the Iron Sheik to tag in ha ha

These clowns think that a 2 month seat holder was making crucial long term decisions for the team.

This kind of stupid can't be reasoned with.

Do you remember a few years ago when you questioned how tall Sanchez was and they listed him like 6'1. Now he like towers over everyone and I can't get this out of my head. But, he was too old to have a growth spurt when he moved up to majors.

I don't know why it bugged me that he was listed at 6'1.  I believe it was ESPN that kept up the ruse.

I'm happy for Sanchez, this is generational wealth.
