Phillies Board / Re: Phillies won’t win 2 games out of next 6

No no no. The Braves injuries have nothing to do with where the Phillies are. It's all due to their ridiculously easy schedule. It's recently been proposed that their schedule is part of some nefarious plan. The Phillies can't beat teams with winning records. When they have done that, it's only because those teams were poisoned before the games. Either that, or the games were rigged by organized crime. These things are obvious to all but pom pom wavers.

Mavis Graves is a 20 year old, 6-6 LHP at Clearwater. He has always been inconsistent in repeating his delivery, possibly because he was as much a 1B in HS as a P. He may have figured it out, looking at his last 4 times out. All his numbers are good. What stands out are 21 innings, 37 Ks.

Miller had what was called a "jammed foot" as to why he missed a few games. Klassen is interesting. TJ about 3 years ago, hadn't pitched a lot since. Got up to 102, but walked everybody. Drafted him with the thought of being a reliever, as he's not as big as what we look for in starters, but he is throwing strikes and is too good for where he is right now. He's been their breakout minor leaguer so far.

George Klassen was great again last night. This guy looks like what they hoped Griff McGarry was.
