« on: May 15, 2023, 04:28:17 am »Had to watch the game on tape and it probably was a good thing. I stopped after the 3rd quarter and looked up the result on ESpN. Spared me 12 minutes of watching this train wreck. Third quarter was the most embarassing 12 minutes of basketball I saw by a Sixers team in a long, long time. Totally unacceptable especially in a game 7.
Tatum played like a true MVP while our two MVPs played like crap.
This needs to be broken up , starting at the top with the HC (since Morey will not get fired which he should).
No more Harden please. Harris needs to be traded and I even would think about trading JE. He never is 100%physically when it counts the most and his mental state has to be questioned too.
Maybe inquire about Morant whose time in Memphis might be up due to his off field behaviour. Maybe a change of scenery would do him good.
Yes, Sixers might bring in a headcase but Morant is a player who like Tatum can take over in the clutch.

you said all well, Morant might be one of the possible solution
a complete rebuild is painful and does not always work as you can see with the current process

I guess his value is too low right now
may be the NBA will suspend him for a season too or may be he will be out of the league soon

Now the season is almost over the Sixers, What is next ?
I'd like to hear your suggestions about Trades/Free agencies/ Extending contracts
key factors to take into considerations:
1. We don't have a 1st draft pick this year.
2. We are above the CAP.
3. Most probably Harden will hit the free agency.
4. Harris contract is finally tradeable.
5. Georges Niang,Shake Milton,Jalen McDaniels,Paul Reed are free agents
5. Doc rivers job is not safe
Is it time to press the reset button or just retooling the team or total run it back?
