That’s how much room we have to the luxury tax. We need a closer, another bp arm, a CF, and a LF. We could also use some certainty on the left side of the infield, but I think we’re just going to hope Didi, Bohm, Stott, and Williams/Maton as bench players get it done.
I’m not looking to give up what real prospects we do have for Reynolds. In both full seasons, his defense was a little below average and his babip unsustainably high. An average year from him is a 3 War year. That’s valuable, but not worth giving up multiple big prospects for. If they want to center a package around a prospect not named Abel or Stott, let’s talk.
