No but it puts us right up against with still a need for another back end bp arm and and LF, let alone minor league option and ST invite type guys at least 2 of whom should be starters. And we’re also without Segura now.

Kiermeier is probably the only option I’d be for in that article. I’m sure the Rays need the salary dump and will take a couple low A arms they’ll turn into monsters in a few years.

Well it looks like the Mets got Canha. That’s more than I would’ve paid. The Phils need to start making moves before there aren’t any to be made except overpaying for over the hill guys or jumping into the top end sweepstakes.

I would like the Phils to do some black friday shopping. Perhaps Jon Gray or Mark Canha? I heard we connected to Mychel Givens, but I’m sure we’ll be “in” on every big name according to the agents. Muzzioti went through 4 levels of ball this season. Did they send him to the AFL? Could he provide us with at least good defense in CF and let his bat grow?

That’s how much room we have to the luxury tax. We need a closer, another bp arm, a CF, and a LF. We could also use some certainty on the left side of the infield, but I think we’re just going to hope Didi, Bohm, Stott, and Williams/Maton as bench players get it done.
I’m not looking to give up what real prospects we do have for Reynolds. In both full seasons, his defense was a little below average and his babip unsustainably high. An average year from him is a 3 War year. That’s valuable, but not worth giving up multiple big prospects for. If they want to center a package around a prospect not named Abel or Stott, let’s talk.

Stott is MLB ready and cheap, which we need. I’m not trading him unless it’s for Mike Trout. I would try to put a package together around Painter. I’d really like to keep Abel.
