A bottomless confidence in absolute stupidity that is rooted in extreme groupthink.

We all have stupid takes, but when it comes about through extreme groupthink, it becomes codified as if it was Einstein's e=mc^2.
I appreciate the response. IMO - what you are describing is most fan bases that invest in their teams. Eg NY, Boston, Chicago etc rather than a St Louis or Tampa etc type of fan base.  The difference between a Philly fan and a NYC or Boston fan is our lack of arrogance which can be misconstrued as ignorance or stupidity. Our lack of arrogance allows us to embrace the underdog or be more forgiving. You would have to grow up in Philly to understand and I mean Philly, not a burb.

What's your thought on that?
I’d be pleasantly surprised if they accomplished that. I’m more surprised about MM and whether it’s been a sophomore slump or RT bias against what could make MM special if allowed to play his actual position and game.

Kelce was your typical Philly legend.  Undersized but athletic, like Iverson and Barkley.
Don’t forget HOF worthy, fan friendly and kept it real. All virtues every city covets.

Spike makes Philly dumb loon smart.

And Shorr-Parks makes Spike look smart.
Mr Krukster - you and I have never had a disrespectful moment although we’ve disagreed on several topics, so I am asking this in all sincerity:

As someone Philly born/bred/live and probably die (although been all around the world), I want to understand what you mean by “Philly dumb”?  You’ve used this term numerous times but I’ve. It seen or remembered the actual definition.  Asking this and hoping you get a chance to answer rather than the from someone you’ve beefed with.

love pace

watch the games you dumb phuck. then wipe your chin you kock sucker

2 more dvoraks and insatnt multiple cups on the way.

So odd how no team has ever tried to win with 3 dvorak type centers and solid wing depth. seems like a recipe for success.

starting early on the spin using the vlad "injury'? what eh miss 3 games?  injuries, what "if" scenarios only apply to the flyers. no one else. for a guy who claims he is smart you are dumb as a fn stump.

20 regulation wins. only 4 teams have less. great job and strategy. imagine thinking that is the path to the playoffs and greatness. here is an idea try to win in regulation once in a while.
What if by miracle they make the playoffs and ride a hot G for a round?

We'll know in 2-3 years how important Stout really was.  Truthfully every star he produced as a physical freak.  Kelce included.
I know you weren’t a Kelce fan but I always was. He’s probably the best pulling C in NFL history.  This season Hinton and the other mid to late round OL lottery tickets need to show something or I will stick with my Stoudt over past few years is a bit overrated.

Paying 10 million for a "super sub" Olineman would make some sense, but not for one who only excels at tackle.

This is why I hated letting Toth walk.  On top of having a PhD from Stoutland U, he can technically play all 5 positions.
Toth was an underrated super sub and probably a better C than Cam last year. I understand not wanting to pay 10M for a sub T but he’s better than Fred and I doubt LJ will play more than 10-12 games. IMO and probably I’m in the minority but Stoudt is a bit overrated the past 3-5 years. Besides JM who has he turned from a pumpkin into a stagecoach?

Read that the Panthers did a one year 10 million max contract for the supposedly best offensive tackle available this free agency.

Surprised that how we didn’t jump on that, but I guess at the time cap space was needed for all of the dumpster dives he’s made the past week.

Dont know any of these players.  So, who should I be watching?

Uhhh...I can't watch this.  I tried.
The lineup is analogous to the 76ers bench. All our who cares at this point. The difference is the 76ers bench is in season and this is just spring training lol

Fortunately, I have no experience with one.  So, it's not a knick-knack injury like the shin before it.  Then it's another example of something that just happens to Jo out of the blue.  Love the guy's skill but it's always something every season.  Can't imagine him staying healthy throughout a long playoff run when he hasn't even done it through the history of short ones.
And thanks to our genius GM the fans have 3 more seasons to enjoy the Joel Embiid, IR show when this season is over.

If today, I'd protect VJ and TM... the rest can go or stay doesn't matter.

If for 28/29, same as today.

Would be awesome to bring in Stoudt and Dougie P as high priced consultants!

I would probably put that number at zero point zero (in my best Dean Wormer voice).
As long as JE/PG are collecting a paycheck this team has no chance of winning the east.

Hollywood Brown makes it much easier to stomach an AJ trade in the near term.

But Howie won't settle for a cheap offer.

My guess is that he'll hold firm on a 2026 1st and a 2027 2nd.

I would not be surprised if Howie turns AJ into picks to move up to take a next level prime prospect. Ala Jalen Carter.
