I see some familiar names here. As for being disgruntled, this goes back to when the Flyers hired the smartest man in the room Ronald Hextall and he started to rip the balls off of this team by trading Schenn for **** useless scum like Frost and Farabee. New age fans fellated over them like they were the next coming of Gretzky and Messier and I quickly realized the way I think and watch hockey was quickly becoming obsolete.

Everything became analytical this and analytical that. F****** stupid metrics that will never make any sense to me. Then Hextall make the gravest error of his life by drafting jello head Nolan Patrick just because he had to have one of his precious Brampton boys. We all know he missed out on Heiskenen and Makar and didn't listen to his scouts on that one. That set the franchise back 10 years. He never had the balls to make a big boy trade for actual help for an aging Giroux and Voracek to see if they could have truly contended for a cup.

The Flyers happily fired him and then brought in another nepo baby Chuck Fletcher. I didn't think anything could get worse but this truly stupid human being signed Sean Cucktourier to a 433 year deal with a no movement clause. Anyone with a third of a brain could have realized that that was just a horrible horrible decision. Then this **** tool couldn't even trade JVR for a jar of pickles because "trades are hard to make" LMAO. Somehow that stupid ignoramus won the Giroux trade but happily that wasn't enough to save his job.

Then the Jones and Brier era begins and I will admit I was suckered into thinking this was going to be an actual tear it down to the studs rebuild. What a crock of s***. They started off right by dumping Provorov and I thought things were headed in the necessary tank direction. Then they signed Konecny to a ridiculous contract that he didn't earn or deserve. But the country club atmosphere reared it's ugly head and decided he was worthy of that contract. Konecny was the PERFECT player to trade for draft capital and a marginal player or two. The most important thing was not going to be the return in that trade but instead the cap space you would have obtained to use for something more useful. Then, imagine truly sucking for a few years and getting a top three pick. Same goes for Sanheim, they should have dumped him as well.

The hybrid rebuild is a joke and the only way this franchise will return to being a perennial Stanley Cup contender is if they would have torn it down to the studs and tanked tanked tanked tanked tanked and tanked some more.

I'll die on a hill for that. The country club decides to reward Owen Tippett for being a completely marginable scumbag of a player. Same goes for Cates and just a few days ago they signed Christian f****** Dvorak to a five year deal....what in the actual ****?

Oh and btw I am NOT convinced that Zegras can maintain this level he is at. Anyone with the intelligence of a nutless monkey could see that he is trying extra hard in a contract year and will coast once ink is to paper. So for the foreseeable future you have these players below locked into roster spots. In no particular order.

Cucktourier
Cates
Zegras (because of course the flyers will sign him for 32 years)
Dvorak
Konecny
Michkov (who was another player I am not convinced is anything special)
Tippet
Sanheim
Drysdale

I'm sorry, but in no way shape or form is that a contending roster. The opportunity to tear it down to the studs was right there in front of them and instead they went for business as usual all because they want to make it to the playoffs so Comcast can wipe their ass in more money.

Absolutely ridiculous and this is just a surface level of why I am completely disgruntled with the Flyers. I actively root for them to lose pretty much every game including tonight's game against Toronto all because I have the slimmest of hopes that continued suckage will lead to a teardown. Admittedly, there is a .00000001 chance of that happening.

I look at San Jose, a team that properly tanked and look now, they have actual generational talent that they can build around for the next 10 years maybe longer. They are crazy exciting to watch and that's what the Flyers could have been but alas they chose not to.

Anyway, how has everyone else been?

You forgot a couple of terrible coaches, Alain Vigneault and Dave Hakstol.
And they got rid of the wrong guy, should have kept Ghost and got rid of Provorov instead. Big mistake.
