Ya know what's funny, I hear the sheep crying because they don't want to trade Tippett because the ginger god is finally being consistent and going to the net. Aww isn't that sweet. He is the flyers best trade piece for a center or defenseman.

What they don't realize is that the Flyers are their own worst enemy and shot themselves in the foot. They could keep Tippet if they would have properly tore everything down to the studs and traded Kuntnecny or Sanheim or both. The return would have definitely been a number one center and then you have said center and Tippet.

But Danny boy refused to do that and now tough choices have to be made. He needs to put on his big boy pants and actually make a franchise altering trade. I still have doubts as to his ability to do that but you can't have your cake and eat it too. Something's gotta give, you understand now sheep?

The best way to sustained success is to put yourself in a position to draft high in the draft for a few years. If you have a young exciting team, despite the results, peeps will still go.
