I mentioned on a previous thread about acquiring Kuminga from the Warriors. Somehow the Sixers have to make a trade for him.

Embiid isn't playing tonight due to back-to-back, no?  PG is always listed as questionable, as is Embiid, it's a CYA to avoid fines, no?

Gotta ask, why do you want a player that a team trying to win it all this year won't put on the court?  Lots of smoke there, gotta think there's fire.  And this is a team that was willing to put up with Jimmy Butler's BS.

I believe this would be the better move... Grimes is from Houston if I recall... Grimes for Eason makes a lot of sense for both sides...

The Rockets started a lineup of Steven Adams, J Smith, T. Eason, K. Durant, and Amen Thompson... They have Reed Sheppard off the bench... This could be the move for me anyway.

I think Grimes is a sixer, now and moving forward. He just has to realize his real value. I like McCain, Edwards and a future 1 for Eason.

Don't just read the boxscore. Watch him play and get back to me.  He's a PF, with range.  Look at the minutes he plays, those numbers are better than solid for the minutes.  And I said two might be heavy but again might be the price.  And seems you always want the "two in the bush", not the one in hand.  Like I said before, many more 1st rounders make teams like the Nets rather than OKC.

The bigger fear for me with Eason would be, very much like Quentin Grimes, you have to pay the guy... I don't see how we can pay both Grimes and Eason... As both will want a huge payday...

Not saying Jabari is available... But if he were to be available, I prefer his skill set and 22 years of age that would fit better with VJ... Plus he's already under contract... The future IMHO when making these moves has to play some kind of role...

The question is 2 1st rounders... And for a team that won't have a pick this year... A team that still owes the Brooklyn Nets... That is a price I'm not willing to take to continue building around Joel for the now... If you tell me it's 22 year old Smith, sure we can talk as Smith fits the timeline for our younger kids and Maxey... I still would have reservations... Can anyone tell me right now that Paul George or Joel Embiid won't go down with injury again???

Eason will get paid, Grimes overshot his value by a ton.  He's a solid 3rd guard, can look like a star on a bad team but on a good team he's a piece, not a star.
