What’s the % probability of all 3 JE/PG/TM playing all possible playoff games. I say 20% or 1 in 5 possible games.
I would probably put that number at zero point zero (in my best Dean Wormer voice).

The only thing that gives me pause is the lack of two-man chemistry between Maxey and Joel.

It’s hard to build chemistry when one of the players doesn’t play.

Philly dumb (characterized by grossly overestimating your own intelligence) is definitely a social contagion.

Sounds like you have a bad case of it.

You disregard WAR (including defensive WAR) with O'Hoppe while disregarding Moniak's good offensive numbers because his defensive WAR was bad.

Despite knowing full well that Moniak had the athleticism and arm to play CF.

Lolololol!!!!

I repeatedly called Maxey a star his second year in the league and you guys deny I ever said it.

That’s a flat out lie.  You said he peaked in his second season (lol you couldn’t have been more wrong) and should be traded.  Hell, you wanted to trade him for Beal lolol!!!  Thank God you’re not the GM.

Show us the post where you said Maxey was a star in his second year and I’ll retract this post.

You're gonna have to ask Embiid why he keeps asking for Ben to come back.
Thank God Embiid isn’t our GM.

And yes, it just so worked out that we get comfortably under the luxury tax too, meaning we can not only convert Barlow but sign our boy Ben once PG's roster spot is officially open.
Lolololol!!! You just can’t help yourself.  The blunder from down under will never don a Sixers uni ever again.  He’s a fisherman now.  He never had the desire and dedication for basketball.  Accept it.

Sixers Forum / Re: Where Do You See Giannis Going?
« on: January 30, 2026, 06:07:53 pm »
So who would you take?  Tatum, Joker, Giannas are all injury prone.  So just curious who you would want as everyone in the league gets hurt so assuming there is someone you want that never gets hurt.  No to Haliburton, I'm looking and can't find anyone of impact that isn't injury prone, using the definition on this board.
If I may add my two cents, there is a difference between a player getting injured vs. being injury prone.  Lets look at a couple of examples.  This is Embiid’s 10th year playing (not counting the 2 seasons he missed entirely due to injury).  In ten years he has played in 31, 63, 64, 51, 51, 68, 66, 39, 19, and currently at 27.

Compare that to Jokic who you mentioned and in his 11th season he has played in 80, 73, 75, 80, 73, 72, 74, 69, 79, 70, and currently at 32 games played.

In 10 seasons Embiid has only qualified for an MVP award twice (min 65 games played).  In 11 seasons Jokic has qualified for an MVP award every season except possibly this one (it remains to be seen).

That is a huge difference in games played.  Embiid is injury prone, Jokic is not.

Funny, when it was Jah putting up gaudy stats as a rookie while playing $hit defense on a $hit team, you guys managed to look past those gaudy stats.

Strange.
I think most on here realized Jah wasn’t gonna cut it during his rookie year.

Besides his defensive WAR of +1.3 his first 2 full seasons behind the plate, there's this scouting report from MLB.com when he was still a prospect.  I get it, DD is now in your tribe, Philly Dumb, and must be defended like a first born son.  But that Marsh was a day one loser, period.  Plenty of equal alternatives were available for a fraction of the cost.  DD thought that the stunod coaches he hired could "fix" Marsh, they didn't/couldn't.

While O’Hoppe’s defensive tools don’t jump out as plus, he is a very solid all-around receiver, with a quick release, an accurate arm and excellent blocking skills. Pitchers love throwing to him, and his worth ethic and makeup are off the charts, the kind of leader teams covet behind the plate.
Lolololol!!!  Keep trying sparky.  There is plenty of sources that point out that your boy is a far below average catcher.  You’re either ridiculously stubborn or a complete moron.  Your choice dopey.

His .629 ops last season was pathetic as well.

Kruk dumb, the gold standard of dumb.

He had a positive defensive WAR last season.

Every scouting report on his defense was positive.

He’s widely considered to be a terrible defensive catcher.  Hell, there’s been talk of moving him from catcher.  You don’t know what you’re talking about as usual.

With regular ABs I'm certain he puts up a 700+ OPS.

Durability is his only unproven trait.
As Doc pointed out, he has a career sub 700 OPS.

As far as durability is concerned, he’s proven that he’s not durable.  I hope I’m wrong and he stays healthy and can hit.  I’m not holding my breath though.

I’d like to see if the Rockies have any interest in trading Goodman.  I doubt it but it can’t hurt to inquire.

Marchan will bail out Thomson and DD.
Do you really think Marchan is an everyday catcher that will put up solid offensive numbers?

Seems like he’s always injured.  A team with World Series aspirations shouldn’t bank on Marchan as their everyday catcher.

To be clear, just about everything has been spelled out by published literature.

Your logic amounts to "yeah it's raining and I'm outside without an umbrella, but is there a study that says for sure that the rain is why I'm wet"

Real scientists don't bother addressing this level of dumb.
Sounds like more of your krukshit.  What a shocker.
