was something like 485 to 465 and and everyone just ran with it because they are aholes who hate our boy.

Hate ?  Group think ?   How about 10 years of frustration.   No one hates Embiid they just wish he's played more.   It doesn't matter the reason.   He was fun to watch but the game is about winning and he didn't simply because he wasn't there enough.  Its a shame because he was immensely talented and I'm sure he's not too happy about the outcome but its the reality.   Its not hate, its not delusion.  Its just frustration.

Ding ding, add another.  He's out against Utah.

Love the guy's [Embiid] skill but it's always something every season.

Yep,  as Roseanne Roseannadanna used to say..  "It's always something".   He may play the last 10 games [I wouldn't bet on it] but the odds are very bad that he makes it through a playoff 'season'.  He's a walking accident.  The oblique was because he made an awkward movement trying to draw a foul.  He finds a way.

Little knick-knack injury has Joel on the bench for the last 11 games.

An oblique isn't a knick-knack injury.  It regularly sidelines MLB players for 3-6 weeks depending on severity.   Its pretty common in baseball.  When he went down with it I knew it was going to be a while.

Add one more.  He's out tonight against the Kings.

I feel like Stout told Howie "I'll hang around in case you decide to fire Sirianni"

Interesting that he hasn't caught on anywhere else yet.

This is just bad... What has not changed all season, we stay in the 4-5 games over .500 all year...

Nothing.  Embiid doesn't play enough to make a difference in the end.  PG has played even fewer games than Embiid.  Maxey gets drained and finally hurt and here we are.  Its deja vu all over again.  They can't do this next season.

Seems like the long NBA season is wearing on VJ.

Hollywood Brown makes it much easier to stomach an AJ trade in the near term.

Brown is a 3rd WR at best.  Just a Dotson replacement.   It wouldn't/shouldn't change the Brown equation.

The way people talk about Rice, Moss, TO, Megatron, etc that’s how he [Brown] wants to be remembered.

I get it but I don't think Brown is in their league.  He's very good but those guys were at another level.

You guys act like it's beyond any possibility that we can make the playoffs and that Embiid can be healthy for said playoffs.

LOL...  he's had 2 years and half of this season to rest.   Sure, he might be healthy.   And if he is he will put up good numbers, stumble when it counts and the Sixers will bow out again.   He's a great talent but the NBA history has a long list of very talented players that never won a thing.

"If Joel Embiid had a healthy NBA career, he would be the greatest center of all time... It would be between him and Jokic."

- Jeff Teague

(Via @club520podcast / h/t @NBA__Courtside , @ClutchPoints )

But he didn't so we can only speculate.  However,  Jokic isn't the best center of all time.

Trading AJ before June 1st is now an option

Right now the Eagles are weaker than they were going into FA.  They added a starting corner with a rep and nothing else.  The OL is weaker.  Trading Brown will really hurt the offense.   This looks  like it will be a down year but trading Brown will guarantee that.

You're talking about McCain as though he's only a 3pt shooter.  He can shoot the 3 but the guy can create a shot.   He has, or had in his first season before he was hurt, good handles. He's sneaky.   Not quick but can get to his spot.  That may not be needed in OKC but the kid can play offense.

I like Goeddart but they need Brown more.
