We don't need to spend the cap... That is my thing... I don't want to see money being spent because we are closer to a rebuild... I would rather see the Sixers a top 10 fiscal team... Good and healthy contracts... Indiana Pacers type roster 10 or more deep... George and Embiid take well over 50% of the cap and miss a ton of games... That is not sustainable to winning... I think that's smart...

And I don't agree at all, u seem pretty smart as well, I don't understand then that u cannot see how having $51,666,090 m tradeable asset is a bad thing? We are not a Paul George away... And we would do well for ourselves trading Paul into 3-4 players... Hopefully 1-2 expiring... I also just brought up a few days ago about the expiring contracts that total around 16 million... You need to make a trade, move Drummond and Gordon... Oubre is an expiring 8 million that can be moved... That is smart... Thank you...

It has a feel that the Sixers are holding their ground and stance on said contract... That they won't pay a dime more than what they offered... You would think that, at the very least, you or the team would have gotten in touch with each other for negotiation... Maybe it's just the 4th of July weekend and Morey is on vacation... TBD...

My want is all in for Harper without moving Maxey.  Pile the first rounders up until they say yes.  What I think happens is they trade with NO and get #7, #23 and Herb Jones for #3, #35 and filler. I think Tre Johnson is at #7 and Fleming is at #23, maybe future picks to move up #23 slightly if needed but shouldn't be too much. Thoughts?

No, you having a real hard time understanding how the money works. Teams are not just gonna go over the 2nd tax tier because then you are stuck in hell for like 5-7 years. So stupid to do. Why do you think Boston is looking to trade players.

Giannis for 57 million next year or Bane for 36 million? They would not be able to keep everyone. It simple math.

Is it killing us because Embiid is getting 55 million? Yes. Because are fillers are not great. Our saving grace is pick 3. And that is just dumb luck.

OKC will have a window. They might last a bit longer because they hit on 2 picks after 10. (  SGA and Williams). But it will come to an end.

The problem with the players in the nba is they are all GREEDY!!!! You will never hear of a player taking a team friendly deal…. NEVER. Just think if you have 5 great players making 30 million a year???  That takes care of 150 million in cap and you could fill the rest with really good players. They would get 120 million over 4 years. Then sign another one for 30 million over 4 years. That’s 240 million? They will never spend that. But, let’s keep paying 50 plus million and they need rest or get hurt.

Bottom line, fans want to see rings, players could give a rats ass about winning. Just pay them…
