So, your preference is to have a message board where the guy who posts more than anyone else, can just make up whatever nonsense he likes regardless of accuracy? Got it, you’re an idiot

DocStarsky and Hutch20 leaving would be additions by subtraction

But no I’m not concerned about fact checking every detailed statement. I’m more than capable of looking up stuff should I care and if we took a poll I’m sure it would come back to disband the lil’ flock of fact checkers

Joel's got a great story and he's done a lot of good for the 76ers which should be recognized and commended. and if you watch sports primarily for entertainment, to see individual talent showcased, there's no doubt that when he plays, Joel can give that to you. But, if you want to win a championship, your best player's health and availability is absolutely a huge, giant, factor in any plan. And missing 49% of his games or 50% of his games is not materially different to championship aspirations. Either % demands attention and discussion. In fact, either % almost surely (wont say absolutely) removes any realistic possibility of winning a title.
Couldn't agree more... What are we talking about here... 50 to 49% is not that big of a difference... To say Joel has played over 50% is not saying much... That alone is why we don't win... Can you at least participate? I would rather Joel be a 12 and 10 guy and be available...

It's always going to come down to GROUND HOGS DAY and the fact that the team never has any consistency as a team... You will hear some crazy stat about the starting lineup having only played together so many times.

the stat that went viral wasnt even real

i know it doesnt matter to you guys but hes still played over 50% despite starting his career at a 200 game deficit.  Hes beat the odds and had a career and people just clown him.  His career almost never ever started and he turned into an mvp.  Thats worth praise and takes a lot of blood sweat and tears

it was something like 485 to 465 and and everyone just ran with it because they are aholes who hate our boy.  Support our players instead of tearing them down

tied for the 6 seed down 4 straters and now potentially a backup starter in Barlow

Time to squint a little
Fake or not, it's not that far off... Joel at the Denver games missed 467 games... He would have missed the Jazz and Kings game. So that should be 469 games Missed...

Joel Embiid out for Sixers-Thunder on Monday... That would make it 470 games missed by Joel Embiid...

Joel Embiid has not played since Feb. 28 due to a right oblique strain. The Sixers have continually professed hope that his return was nearing in recent days...

When did playing over 50% of your career become a good thing? Do you agree that his unavailability is why we have not won a title under Joel... The lack of chemistry because he's unavailable... I'll give you something that is less than 50%... I don't give the Sixers a chance at all of winning in the 1st round. We could lose in the play-in... The chances of the Sixers winning a 1st round series IMHO, is 0%... They are not beating the Pistons, Celtics, or Knicks... Just maybe if someone was available more, the wins reflect differently, and they are higher in the standings. And their is consistency with the team in general... But this in and out the lineup for a huge number of games is not sustainable or a winning way... 485 played and 470 not played, regardless of how you want to put it is not good... It's still a 50/50 flip of the coin if he's available or not... 50.78% PLAYED and 49.22% NOT PLAYED...

Nonsense aside, we now have 4 lefties in our pen.

This will pay off if Thomson learns to micromanage our pen.

If...

I think there are a few guys we will see in the next year or two, pitchers that is, who are going to impact this roster in the next 1-2 years. I start with Painter and then Wood, and then Pan, the kid from Taiwan who is back from TJ surgery. There are many others of course but these are kids I have been following.Abel was another one but they got good value for him with Dohan. The other one who DD dumped was Ben Brown, with Chicago now. The Cubs baptized him by fire last year and it was a bumpy ride. Interested to see how he does this year. Brown was one of the three with Abel and Painter who were coming up together kind of.

I've heard good things about Pan from someone I trust, hearing you endorse him makes me even more bullish.

These kids now throw so damn hard.  95 mph doesn't even seem impressive anymore 😂

When we drafted Wood he was being advertised as a fast riser who could potentially be our closer in the near term.

Details on Sánchez’s redrawn extension: #Phillies picked up their options for 2029 and ‘30, tacked on $30 million guarantees in both ‘31 and ‘32. Here’s how it breaks down:

2027: $6M; 2028: $9M; 2029: $15M; 2030: $16M; 2031: $30M; 2032: $30M; 2033: $44.5 club option ($1M buyout)
