They had a chance, but w Maxey on ice theres no chance at all.  No Jo, no PG, and Maxey colder than polar bear feet.  He's missing lays, jumpers, and open uncontested 3s....ouch!  Well, I"m ou.  see ya next game. 

You can check these numbers because even my eyebrows were raised. Not counting the first two seasons that Embiid missed due to injury, Joel Embiid has missed roughly 400 games out of total possible 844 or around 47%. That's a pretty big number. I checked a guy like Giannis and I'm sure can check other stars, but Giannis plays roughly 80 -90% of his games and only the 2022/2023 season stands out where he missed 19 games due to minor injuries. Now, if these numbers are accurate, saying the fans don't appreciate the guy is a BIG stretch when he isn't here half the time, but is paid like he is. There is no argument here.

without the first two years due to the navicular fracture it would take 164 games off that total.  So somewhere around 240 games missed since he started playing.  400 would be the total if you did include the navicular years.

Still not great but he started his career with an injury that usually ends careers.  The fact he rose to the level hes at is still a huge success story
