Mr Big Brain, how old are you, 4?

Lame reply. So you are saying someone is stupid for assigning him being at 50% yet you won’t give your own estimate. Got it

While I get what you are trying to say, I just don't buy it or agree with you. the guy isn't a newbie and has been around the game for 10 big league years and 3 minor league years before that. You have what two or three on the field things that you can point to? And what were these big infractions that makes you determine that he is a jerk and no one should sign him?

Throwing the ball over the CF wall from the pitchers mound after being taken out of a game? Screaming at the players on his Japanese team for not being able to get any player in a run down? And then running the ball to first base instead of tossing it over there afterwards?

Yelling at a fan after getting yelled out himself? Oh shutter the thought! How many players have don't the same thing and how many met your ire over that?

And as for yelling at other players on a team? That also has been done before. In fact, other players have had fistfights instead of yelling at other players. But that Bauer. How dare he yell at such incompetence in not being able to get a single base runner in a run down?

And how many pitchers have caught a ball and ran it to first base without throwing over to risk an error?

Now, I'll give you the one about the then 28 year old, throwing the ball over the CF fence from the pitchers mound. That was something different. How many pitchers could even do such a thing? Not the smartest of things to do, granted but how come some players can show their emotions in your book like to stupid celebrations like kids but not be able to show their frustrations and emotions in other ways?

Do you think that it is OK for a player to take a bat to a Gatorade can in the dugout, or throw their helmets or trash a dugout after making an out? How about Harper destroying the bullpen phone the other day after making an out? Is that OK?

Somehow in comparison, I think that throwing a ball over a fence is less offensive and damaging than destroying things in a dugout. But hey, that's just me!

And while we are at it, we might as well touch on his off the field sexcapades too. Exactly who cares if he is still or just was a sexual freak with hookers and one night stands?

Do you have any idea of just how common it is for famous people to have flings and even creepy flings? So, why is he singled out as the poster boy for stupidity and creepiness?

At least he wasn't married and was fooling around like so many athletes and famous people do on their wives.

And that as well as the fraud liar woman that recently tried to make some money off of Bauer by lying on him. Again, who really cares? That is a  civil matter that has nothing to do with the game. Now, if he is a danger to others for real, then lock him up and throw away the key.  But as far as I have read, he never beat or physically harmed anyone. And the choking thing during the creepy sex thing is older than he is. And from what I gathered she was in on it too. Again, not a smart thing to do but no one ever has mistaken athletes for being geniuses.

I don't care about any of his off field stuff, he's acted a fool on field and to team mates. That's where I draw the line, good talent, not sure if he's great anymore but seems to be a jerk.  Look at those who got contracts that were know jerks, he must go to a new level.

I’ve said this for 3 years now and he’ll be 31 next year. I think we should move him this summer.

And you're right on so many things, lol!

What % would you assign him, Mr. Big Brain?

Anyone can see with their own eyes that he looks labored, not quite as nimble, and a few extra pounds to boot

No %. He is what he is, the only reason the Sixers can win, if they win falls on the rest.

On a people level, I think Oubre is inheriting that "who do I look to when it matters most" reputation.

Which is amazing on so many levels.

Embiid is the leader, its a silly question.

Detroit are a train crash. They've been bad for years and look like they will be bad again.
Their sheet is attached. That's 12 spots filled except they will probably waive Evan Fournier because his $19m contract is not guaranteed and he's not worth that.
They also have Wiseman Bird rights. Seems he's only a back-up at this point, he's not as good as Duren - it's not close.
Last they have Fontecchio who started season in Utah. Fontecchio shot the three at 42.6% on decent volume. Fontecchio has been Italy's best or second best player for years and had a good career in Europe. He's now 28 and has figured out how to play in the NBA.
I can't imagine Detroit make any of their contracted guys available.
So Fontecchio is the only one good who will be available. He'll get paid around the $10m mark I think. This season he's been better than Buddy Hield.

Unless we are interested in Fontecchio not much to say about Detroit. If they get sick of trying to figure out how to play Cade and Ivey together and make Cade available we can look at that if it happens.

We're you watching the same game? Hield was 1-5 from the arc, why would Miami need to overreact to him? Maybe Batum forced them to defend the arc?

He repeatedly used the attention the Heat were giving his 3 ball to create offense, and at critical times.

As to why Miami respected his 3 ball despite a 1-5 showing last night, maybe because their players aren't suffering from amnesia?

It was the respect Hield commanded last night that opened up Miami's zone.  And Hield to his credit took advantage of that respect by passing and driving after the Heat overreacted to defending his 3 ball.

He’ll prolly be moved at the deadline next season.  It’s his last season under that max deal he got and I don’t see them getting much better w him.
I don't want Ingram or his contract. I don't think he fits us.
Ingram is an expensive pouting, moody version of Oubre and right now Oubre has been good for us. Only missed games coz of a car accident. Played his guts out. Never went AWOL on the court but Ingram does.
If I was GM I'd be finding ways to keep Oubre
